Why we have clear safety policies (and why they matter)
We love fun, muddy paws and happy tongues-out smiles. We also take safety seriously.
Group dog walking and dog hiking naturally involve close contact. Clear policies help us protect your dog, other dogs in the pack, and our team—so every outing stays positive.
Required vaccines for Pupper Bus services
All dogs must be current on:
Rabies
Parvo/Distemper
Bordetella (every 6 Months)
These vaccines help reduce the risk of preventable illness, especially in group environments where dogs share space and interact.
Spay/neuter requirement for dogs 18 months+
Dogs 18 months or older must be spayed/neutered, consistent with PACFA guidelines.
This supports safer pack dynamics by helping reduce hormone-driven behaviors that can complicate group interactions.
What if your dog has a medical exception?
If your veterinarian has recommended a different timeline for health reasons, please reach out. Depending on the situation, we may be able to recommend:
solo walks
private hikes
alternative service options that keep everyone safe
Our goal: safe dogs, calm groups, great adventures
When expectations are clear, the pack stays healthier and calmer—and dogs get a better experience. For more details, visit our FAQ or contact us with questions.
